I was born and raised right here in Lampasas, Texas. My husband, Marcos, who will also teach and coach for Lampasas ISD, and I have four boys. Rylan who will be entering the 7^th grade, Greyson 6th, Kaylor 2nd, and Myken 1st.  We are so excited to be back in Lampasas and raise our children as Badgers and be close to our families.  

 After graduating from Lampasas High School, I received my Bachelor's from Texas Tech University and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with Counselor and Principal certification from Angelo State University. I have served students in many different districts across Texas as a classroom teacher, Special Education Teacher/Coordinator, Interventionist, Instructional Coach, Counselor, and Elementary and High School Assistant Principal.  

I love the field of Education. I have a passion for being a lifelong learner and impacting students to be successful, not only in the classroom but in life. I love working together with colleagues and improving student achievement and closing gaps. I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to do all the things I love in my childhood Elementary, Kline Whitis!
