I was born and raised right here in Lampasas, Texas. My husband, Marcos, who will also teach and coach for Lampasas ISD. I have four boys - Rylan, Greyson, Kaylor, and Myken. We are so excited to be back in Lampasas and raise our children as Badgers and be close to our families.
After graduating from Lampasas High School, I received my Bachelor's from Texas Tech University and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with Counselor and Principal certification from Angelo State University. I have served students in many different districts across Texas as a classroom teacher, Special Education Teacher/Coordinator, Interventionist, Instructional Coach, Counselor, and Elementary and High School Assistant Principal.
I love the field of Education. I have a passion for being a lifelong learner and impacting students to be successful, not only in the classroom but in life. I love working together with colleagues and improving student achievement and closing gaps. I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to do all the things I love in my childhood Elementary, Kline Whitis!
