What to bring to register:

Copy of social security card

Proof of residence- Acceptable proof of physical residency:

Utility Bill (internet, electric, water, i.e.)

Lease Contract

- Parent/Guardian Identification (drivers license)

In the event that a family is living with another family; acceptable proof of physical residency is:

Utility Bill or Lease Contract of residence and notarized letter by resident that the family is currently residing at the residence.

Have a 4 year old ready for Pre-K?
To be eligible for enrollment in a Pre-K class, a child must be four years old on September 1st of the current school year, and the child must meet one of the following requirements:
• Be unable to speak and comprehend the English language
• Be educationally disadvantaged (eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program)
• Be homeless
• Be the child of an active-duty member of the Armed Forces of the United States, including the State Military Forces or a Reserves, who was injured or killed while service on active duty.
• Have ever been in the conservatorship of the DFPS (foster care)
• Is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award, such as:
- A peace officer
- A firefighter
- An emergency medical first responder
